In 1996, Ann Harrington launched Lighthouse Realty Group.

She opened her doors in Weymouth, MA, after establishing a strong reputation as an expert on residential real estate in South Shore Massachusetts.

Ann is also a well-known and respected real estate instructor, offering courses for preparation of real estate salespersons and brokers license exams, sales training, and continuing education.

Ann Harrington is an active member of the Plymouth & South Shore Board of REALTORS, where she served as the Director (2000-2004) and Vice President (2004-2005). In 2007, the PASS named Ann Harrington “REALTOR of the Year”. 

In 2026, Ann was appointed to a 3-year term on the Board of Library Trustees for the Town of Weymouth.

She is also heavily involved in the community, such as leading the bi-annual Weymouth Clothing Drive. Over the years, Ann has volunteered her time for a number of local efforts in the South Shore, including the South Shore Walk for Hospice, Weymouth Relay for Life, and the Weymouth Post-Prom Committee. She is also actively involved in the Weymouth High School Alumni Association, the Weymouth High Theatre Company and the Weymouth High Theatre Company Booster Club.
